Frequently asked questions
Can immersion heaters be used for oil?
Yes, but oil needs a lower watt density than water to avoid carbon build-up on the elements. Tell us the oil type and temperature.
Which material is best for chemicals?
It depends on the chemical. Stainless steel, Incoloy and Teflon-coated elements are common choices – share the chemical name and concentration.
