Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a tubular heater and an immersion heater?
An immersion heater is usually one or more tubular heaters mounted on a flange or screw plug with a terminal box, for heating liquids. See Tubular heater vs immersion heater.
When should I use finned tubular heaters?
In forced-air applications such as duct heaters. Fins increase surface area, lower the element temperature and improve life.
